"He [Tabata] does drive the ball; his swing plane appears to be the problem. I admit I liked him better last year when he played more CF and played it well. As a corner guy, he's more of a stretch, but he can hit, he's short and quick to the ball, and he's fairly athletic despite his squatty build. I still like more as a solid regular than as an impact guy."
