Donavan Tate, the San Diego Padres top pick from the 2009 draft, was injured in an ATV accident near his home in Georgia, reports Bill Center of the San Diego Union-Tribune. Tate suffered a broken jaw which required surgery, but is expected to be ready for Spring Training. Still, this is not good news about a player who was supposed to be doing nothing.
