The Arizona Diamondbacks top pitching prospect, Jarrod Parker, has been put on the DL with elbow tightness, and will miss the rest of the season, reports Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic. This is not only a setback in Parker's development, but for the big league club as well, as Parker was likely in line for a Septembre call-up and a shot at competing for a rotation spot in Spring Training 2010.
