Now that the Baltimore Orioles have released Adam Eaton, they will need to replace his spot in the rotation, and as Dan Connelly of the Baltimore Sun reports, that replacement will likely be from within their own farm system.
Many are familiar with the pitching depth within the Orioles farm system, but it is unlikely that any of their big three will be called up to replace Eaton, as Jake Arrieta and Brian Matusz are in Double-A and the O's would prefer not to rush Chris Tillman. There are a number of possible candidates, but the only real option among prospects is David Hernandez.
